Don’t Drag Me Very Horrible Like This When Monkey Loves Dog

In a small village on the edge of the jungle, an unusual and heartwarming friendship had formed between a little monkey named Miko and a stray dog called Bruno. The villagers had watched in amazement as the tiny monkey, barely bigger than a coconut, clung to the dog’s back, wrapping his small arms around Bruno’s thick fur. Wherever Bruno went, Miko followed. They ate together, played together, and even slept curled up next to each other under the shade of an old mango tree.

Bruno, a gentle and patient dog, had accepted the monkey as his own. When Miko was scared, Bruno would nuzzle him with his nose to reassure him. When the villagers threw scraps of food, the dog always made sure the little monkey got his share. It was a bond unlike anything the villagers had seen before—a friendship that crossed the boundaries of species.

But not everyone understood their connection.

One afternoon, a group of young boys from a nearby village spotted Miko clinging tightly to Bruno. They had never seen a monkey behave this way before, and instead of marveling at the friendship, they saw it as something to play with.

“Look at that monkey hugging the dog! Let’s see if he lets go!” one of the boys shouted.

Before anyone could stop them, one of the boys grabbed Miko by the arm and yanked him away from Bruno. The little monkey let out a terrified screech, his tiny fingers desperately trying to hold onto his friend. Bruno barked loudly, jumping up in distress as he watched his small companion being taken away.

The boy laughed and held Miko up in the air, dangling him by his arms. The little monkey squirmed, his eyes wide with fear. His thin tail curled around the boy’s wrist, trying to hold on to something, anything, for safety. But the boy just shook him loose.

“Don’t drag me like this! Very horrible!” Miko seemed to scream, his shrieks echoing through the village. His tiny body flailed as he tried to reach for Bruno, his only source of comfort.

Bruno growled, his usual gentle nature replaced by fierce protectiveness. He barked and lunged forward, trying to reach Miko. But the boys only laughed, passing the monkey between them as if he were a toy.

The villagers, hearing the commotion, rushed out to see what was happening. An elderly man, who had always watched over Bruno and Miko’s friendship, stepped forward. His face was lined with wisdom and kindness, but now his eyes were filled with anger.

“Enough!” he shouted, his voice commanding respect. The boys froze. “This is not a game. That monkey is terrified. Let him go!”

Realizing they had gone too far, the boys hesitated before finally releasing Miko. The little monkey scrambled to the ground and, without hesitation, ran straight back to Bruno, clinging to the dog’s fur as tightly as he could. His tiny body trembled with fear, his face buried in Bruno’s warm coat.

Bruno licked Miko’s head, a silent reassurance that he was safe now. The villagers murmured among themselves, some scolding the boys for their cruelty, others simply watching the emotional reunion between the monkey and the dog.

The elderly man knelt down beside them and gently stroked Miko’s back. “Friendship like this is rare,” he said softly. “And it should be protected, not harmed.”

From that day forward, no one dared to separate Miko and Bruno again. Their bond had been tested, but it had only grown stronger. Whenever the villagers saw the little monkey clinging to his big dog friend, they smiled, knowing that love and loyalty knew no boundaries—not even between a monkey and a dog.

And as for Miko, he never left Bruno’s side again, holding on even tighter, as if to say, “No one will ever drag me away from you again.”
